Happy birthday to us! 5 years ago this month (December 2017), We founded Special Needs Community CIC (SNC). Having previously co-founded the Harrow Parent Carer Forum (then called Harrow Parents 4 Disabled Children) in 2008, it was the foundation that we built SNC on. Five years on, we are London wide, we support hundreds of families, and work alongside dedicated professionals across London. We have clients in Harrow, Brent, Ealing, Hackney, and even in Buckinghamshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, and Birmingham. We change lives, and bring understanding to difficult relationships with schools and departments. We bring new ideas to the table and roll up our sleeves in partnership. We help to build a disability-friendly playground and influence change in our community. We train and empower our own network of parents and carers to be the change they want to see.
